M. E. Bears And Critters evolved over 25 years ago.
I have had the pleasure of creating consignments of miniature versions of peoples beloved dogs, as well as bears for illustrating children's books.
Literally hundreds of my creations have gone to live with collectors in every corner of the world.
For a few years, I was a feature writer for Teddy Bear Times and Australian Bear Creations.
I won Toby Industry Awards in 2012 and 2013, an URSA award 2012, as well as a number of other International Awards around the same time.
These days I count my blessings to live on beautiful Bribie Island, Queensland. Here I have found new inspiration and am currently evolving with brand new patterns, ideas and techniques.
I hope you enjoy looking at my bears and critters. They are designed and lovingly hand stitched by myself. I guarantee the high quality of all my OOAK Critters - once you adopt one of my creations I know you will come back again.
Please meet Sacha the OOAK white rabbit who is wearing a little checked pinafore which I have also designed and made. She stands a little over 14cm (5.5 inches ) to the top of her ears. Sacha has been lovingly hand stitched and she is looking for her furever home.
Her fur is white Sassy Fur, she sees through green glass eyes, she smells with a hand stitched nose, and she moves with disc jointed neck/limbs. She has been firmly stuffed with high quality poly flock and some glass pellets were added for a little extra weight.
She has been sculptured and hand shaded to add character and charm. Her whiskers are horse hair which are individually sewn into her face. Her ears can be bent and posed to give her different expressions.
She comes with a cardboard swing tag, as well as a sewn in satin label.
She is an adult collectable and not suitable for small children.
M. E. Bears And Critters are guaranteed to be made with award winning workmanship.
All Critters are original designs and one-of-a-kind originals.
©️ 1994-2020 M. E. Bears And Critters
M. E. Bears And Critters was established in 1994. I still enjoy designing and creating my Critters. But the greatest pleasure comes when a collector adopts one of my individual creations.
